A WORLD BEHIND A LICENSE PLATE

I was particularly impressed by this picture.  The old lorry license plate says us that we are in Ghana, probably near Accra, in a landfill site near Accra, where this young boy try to earn some money looking for recyclable objects.

Dark and unhealthy smoke behind him, rising from burning waste. We can’t see the sun, all is dark. The darkness is such as a message, without hope?

He dresses Barcellona Fc uniform, when Barcellona still was paying to have on shirt UNICEF name, and haven’t  succumbe  to Qatar money.

I know that Africa is not all as this photo is telling, a middle class is growing, thanks to many women something is changing, but there is again a lot of poverty and we have to see boys as this young Barcellona fan not on school desk.
